Bahar Carroll

Bahar grew up with books and poetry that have remained as the thread to her Persian roots since she moved to the US. Now raising a young family of her own, she chairs the Dorna Foundation to pass that thread on; helping children everywhere grow up with meaningful access to stories, art, and the languages that hold them. Bahar leads Dorna's strategy and partnerships, bringing years of experience in strategy consulting and infrastructure development to building a foundation that is as well-run as it is warm-hearted. She lives in Seattle with her family.
